Introduction
It is that time again. The March Madness 2024-2025 season is back in full swing. Brackets will be filled out, games will be watched, and upsets will happen. But, if you want your bracket to be created using the best information, stick around.
Eastern Region: Duke Blue Devils

Duke has definitely made a name for itself in March Madness. With 5 overall wins in the competition, it is a team to look out for. Cooper Flagg, a 6 foot 9 freshman, has led the charge in bringing Duke to the top seed. While he has suffered a small ankle injury, he is ready to go for March Madness (Kuhagen). He averages 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. Duke will face off against Mount St. Mary’s in the first round.
Midwestern Region: Houston Cougars
Another top seeded team, Houston is a powerhouse looking to make a bigger name for itself. Led by Kelvin Sampson, they have been clinical on the defensive end and shown extreme athleticism across all the players. In the first round, they came out on top with a dominating 78-40 win against the SIU Edwardsville Cougars. Ray’Sean Taylor and Brian Taylor II combined for a total of 20 points, 4 assists, and 8 rebounds. They play Gonzaga, the 8th seed, next in the second round.
Southern Region: Auburn Tigers

Moving into the third top seeded team, the Auburn Tigers have shown promise to go all the way. With a 29-5 regular season performance, they look to continue their winning streak. In the first round, they clinched the win against the Alabama State Hornets 83-63. Amarr Knox, their guard, exploded for an 18 point game. Not far behind, TJ Madlock and CJ Hines scored a combined total of 20 points. They look to win over Creighton, the 9th seed (upset over Louisville), in the second round.
Western Region: Florida vs UConn
While UConn is defending its 2 time NCAA Championship title, it has fallen to 8th seed this year. Unfortunately, it has lost some of the stars that made this team shine so bright in the years prior. Even though it is still an underrated team to watch out for, their season will most likely end in a faceoff with the 1st seeded Florida University. Florida has a 30-4 overall record and a win streak of 6, the highest of any team going into the tournament. Although surprises do happen, they are expected to come out victorious against Norfolk State and face off against UConn (provided UConn wins against Oklahoma).
With that being said, here are the predictions. Many of my predictions are based on Mr. Christopher Kuhagen writing for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

That’s all! Brackets are notoriously difficult to guess right. In fact, the odds are so low that it is one in 9.22 quintillion. That’s a 19 digit number! Thank you for reading all the way to the end and I hope everyone enjoys this season.
