The Mountain Lakes Girls Soccer Team does it again! What a successful season for this fantastic team of athletes. They worked so hard for their wins, and all of Mountain Lakes is so proud of them!
Captian Daisy Duda shares, “This season was one of the best for me. I enjoyed being the senior leader on the team, and playing with my best friends for four years. We had a super positive year, with a 21-3 record and, of course, a sectional and state title. Away from those accolades, though, we were a super close-knit team, and the season didn’t feel like work. It was always fun, which I think contributed to our success!”
Daisy shares her pre-game song, Fight For Your Right, by the Beastie Boys! “I listen to music in my AirPods before finals games, rather than the speaker, and that song gets me hyped every time. My mom and I will also listen to it before my club games, so it is important to me. When I do listen to the speaker, I have to say, New York, New York, and Empire State of Mind. It’s a mix that we’ve listened to since freshman year and the last song we normally listen to before we get off the bus, so it is special to me and the rest of my class.”
