Coaches
Coach Smith (Varsity coach)
“I am proud of the girls this season, on all three levels. Every day they come into the gym ready to play. The effort each day is beyond my expectation. The group this year is very bonded and all get along well. When you have a group of players with great character, it makes learning and teaching the game much more enjoyable. Our 4 seniors, Emily, Sarah, Lauren, and Kelly do a great job on and off the court; between hosting dinners, singing on the bus rides, and just keeping it fun for the whole group. This season the varsity made some milestones. This was the first time in 7 years we won the preliminary round and made it to the first round of the county tournament. This is also my best record as head varsity coach. I owe it to my assistant coaches and each player that steps onto the court. I couldn’t be more proud of the season we are having.”
Coach Preston (Junior Varsity coach)
“This has been a very fun group to work with this season. They are very supportive of one another and work really hard every day. The highlight of the season for me was the Laker Olympics. The seniors did a great job with their costumes and it was a very fun day. I’m looking forward to seeing the seniors play on the court one last time on Feb 24th”
Coach Sean (Freshman coach)
“Having the opportunity to coach a really strong freshman class has helped me learn the game more so I can help all three levels.”
