Read Time:1 Minute, 17 Second

It’s that time of the year again! No, not the most wonderful time…after that: when you’re suddenly very aware of how your report card is looking, and you have to wait ages before a treadmill opens up at the gym. Some people feel that the New Year is an important time to take a look at their lives and set some goals. So what is MLHS up to this New Year? We surveyed some teachers and students to see what they’re planning for 2018, and here’s what they said!

My New Year’s Resolution is…

“To drink more water because I feel that it will improve my health. To keep this, I’m going to try to bring a water bottle with me to school everyday.” – Taylor DeMarco

“To avoid reading negative … news.” – Mrs. Aldrich

“To travel more in 2018.” – Jessica Novak

“To have more patience with the people I interact with.” –  Mr. Sica

“To be more generous with the poor.” – James Hong

“To actually stick to my new year’s resolution…. Just kidding, my New Year’s resolution is to love people and better the world.” – Dorian DeHart

“To eat healthier.” – Mackenzie Wittig

“To learn a new skill.” – Hope Gallardo

“To go to sleep earlier.” – Olivia Rubenstein

“To get good grades.” – Emily Tao

“Uhh…I didn’t make any…’cause I’m not gonna do them or fulfill them.” -Bert Chen
