As everyone knows, when winter rolls around, Volleyball Mania is right around the corner! During the November and December months, the gym is jam packed with various teams playing heated matches in hopes of making it to the semi finals, and ultimately, winning Volleyball Mania. A week before the big game, I had the opportunity to interview some teammates and their feelings about the anticipated tournament.
What is the best part about Volleyball Mania?
I live for Volleyball Mania, it is competitive in a fun way that everyone can enjoy it, and everyone wants to win. – Alexa Krause (’21)

Do you think your team will make it to the Playoffs?

How would you describe your team and how has it been working with your teammates?
Working with Ryan Shanker has been fantastic. Ryan and Nick are everywhere on the court, and Ryan Shanker just spikes it. – Brooke Christ (’20)

Whether volleyball is your thing or not, it is always an event that builds a ton of excitement, and MLHS pride. The day of the game is always a highlight as the gym is filled with students in holiday apparel from head to toe, screaming for their favorite team to win.
