Coaches
Coach Smith (Head Varsity Coach)
“Coming into the season, I knew we’d be a good team, a little inexperienced. I knew we’d have to work hard to get what we wanted. Hence the motto this year “Grit and Grind”. Nothing was going to be handed to us. I couldn’t be more proud of this team for what they accomplished this season. It was a grueling season, and every single player on that floor stepped up in their own way and gained the respect of others watching. I can only hope we have as much tenacity and grit for seasons to come.”
Coach Preston (JV Coach)
“Loved my JV team. We had a lot of fun and success. My two most memorable games were our last two.(vs Morris Tech 32-12 and MoBeard 38-10) Both big wins. It is always so nice to see how much everyone improves over the course of the season and these two games showed everyone how far we came. Everyone works so hard; plays unselfishly; gets along and is supportive of each other; improved their skills and increased their confidence; and most importantly had fun.”
Coach Sean (Freshman Coach)
“I think the best part of this past season is that the JV and freshman teams were combined for practices and some games. Although I love having my own freshman team, I felt like the players and I learned a lot more this year with help from JV!”
