Welcome to the BEST Mountaineer article you have ever read. I know we have so many talented writers and so many amazing articles, but this one involves dogs, cats, and a guinea pig, so clearly, I’m giving these writers have some competition. April 11th is National Pet Day, and I don’t have any pets, which makes this a little awkward…BUT I do have friends who own lots of pets, and I ask them for pictures all the time (even when I am not writing Mountaineer articles about them). Drawing inspiration from my favorite twitter account, @WeRateDogs (they make up situations and give the dogs ratings), we’re featuring some of our furry Lakers. And since we’re an inclusive bunch, we’ve included cats as well as dogs.

Now, I do have to say sorry because we have reached the end of the article, which means there are no more animals. But, if you liked this article and you have an animal that you want us to rate, then tweet it to us @MLMountaineer, and I will be sure to rate your dog. If I don’t, it’s because I got sued by the We Rate Dogs Twitter. Now, go hug your animal, even if it is a fish because fish need some appreciation! If you don’t have a pet, go hug a random dog/cat/guinea pig (except those airport security dogs. Take my word for it: not a good idea.)
