Ms. Suarez
Q: If your life were a movie, what would the title be?
“Positive Vibes All Day!” I feel like that is my life’s motto. I lead a pretty stressful life both in and out of school, so it is incredibly important for me to stay positive.
Knowing that Ms. Suarez also leads Wingman, she definitely follows that motto closely!
Q: What is the most interesting object or possession you have in your room or office?
The most interesting object I have in my room or office is a punching guy. Because my fiancé is a boxer, he brings and buys a lot of boxing things. If I feel stressed, the punching guy is helpful to relieve that stress.
Very cool! This is a super unique and fun way to calm down when stress is high.

Q: If your life were a movie, what would the title be?
“Titanic.” I chose this title because it is a special movie to me. I saw it for the first time with my friend (we went together), but we had different reactions to the movie. My friend thought it was very emotional and she cried, which I can empathize with. For me, on the other hand, while I thought the movie was good, if Jack had taken advantage of a couple of plot holes, he could have been saved. (Why could he not fit on the raft?) Overall though, this movie is still very special to me because the experience during the watching was phenomenal.
Beautifully put. Thank you so much for everyone’s time. We know it is difficult to take the time out of your day, but both of us appreciate the thought and effort put into these questions.

Q: What is the most interesting object or possession you have in your room or office?
The most interesting object I have in my room or office is a canvas with my initials graffitied onto it. It is special to me because it was given to me by a student. I thought it was very thoughtful because it was very creative how he wrote my name. The canvas reminds me about the joys of teaching every single day.
Amazing! That is an awesome object and definitely is unique.

Q: Would you rather teach a brand new subject every year or teach the same subject forever?
I think I would teach the same subject, but I will tweak a few things once in a while.
Totally agree. If you were to teach a new subject every year, you would need to master over 40 years of material! I cannot imagine myself doing that!
Q: Would you rather have a magic whiteboard that writes itself or a class that never forgets what you teach?
Magic whiteboard—easy! All I have to do is talk and the whiteboard will just pop up anything I say. Without a doubt, the magic whiteboard, so I don’t need to write!
We’re honestly surprised that Mr. Elfers answered so fast, but then again, if I were a teacher, having a whiteboard that writes everything I want on the board is a big win.
Closing Thoughts
