5 Reasons Why You Should Have a Rolly Backpack

  •      Saves your back
  •      More stuff to fit inside
  •      Stand out from the crowd
  •      Trip people

Backpacks are vital to the typical student’s life. However, textbooks, notebooks, and laptops can weigh up to 15 lbs. This weight presses on students’ shoulders, which according to Dr. Hewitt of The Huffington Post, “are not designed to hang things from.” This relates to the reason indigenous people carry things on their heads. Furthermore, The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons recommends that the weight of a backpack should be less than 10-15 percent of a child’s body weight, which is not the case for many students. The results can be severe. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that at least 14,000 children are treated for backpack-related injuries such as muscle and joint pain, crooked posture, and in extreme cases, scoliosis.

So what is the solution? Are we doomed to perpetual back pain?

NOPE.

There’s this special type of backpack that will alleviate all of said problems above. It is called:

A Rolly Backpack

Rather than wearing a traditional backpack on your back, you can roll it on the ground to wherever you go. The weight is completely transferred to the floor; therefore, you do not have to suffer. Pack as much stuff as you can, and do not worry about the consequences!

Save yourself; do the right thing. Your health is in your hands. Any questions or concerns, direct them to Raquelle Dicksen, veteran rolly backpacker of four years, or Grace Chuan, the young recruit.
