Woof? Woof! Yeah, you heard me. Dogs.
On April 30th, a group of therapy dogs came to MLHS to comfort students who realized AP tests were very, very soon and they hadn’t started studying.
The dogs came in to kick off Wellness Week, a week-long event started by the LET’S Club. The club is dedicated to helping students ease their stress and retain what little bits of sanity they have left. The dogs ranged from tiny to HUGE. The students (understandably) could not handle the razzle dazzle of the dogs. Some of the most overheard quotes from the day included: “AHHHH!” “It’s so cute!” “Can I keep it?” and the infamous, “I should be studying right now!” #NoRegrets.
For better or for worse, the dogs also came in full costumes. Some of them wore ties, bows, and sombreros. But enough of me describing them! Scroll through our slideshow to look at photos to get a look at some of the good boys and good girls who came to have a good time.
LET’S Club’s Wellness Week went extremely well. On behalf of MLHS students, I’d like to thank LET’S Club for all of the wonderful activities held during the week (especially the dogs!). They are doing a wonderful job raising awareness for mental health and well-being.
